Whenever I received my oral health supplements ordered online, I would scan the barcodes, using my barcode reader apps, on the products to verify their authenticity. And check the expiry dates, seal integrity, and label print quality, etc.
The reason that I do all these is to have peace of mind on the products that I am going to put into my body.
For this particular brand, I was not able to scan the barcode. Upon checking with the seller, it was found that they do not use the standard barcode system, typically used in large retail stores for inventory. As they are selling directly to consumers, eliminating the need for middle-men.
